Description
A covered litter box that adapts to your cat
This XL enclosed stainless steel litter box combines a brushed metal pan with a removable plastic surround and hood. The covered setup provides a more sheltered space; removing the hood leaves a semi-covered high-sided pan, while removing the surround creates an open litter tray. Choose the arrangement your cat can enter, turn around in and leave comfortably.
Designed for practical daily care
- Smooth stainless steel pan: the metal surface is accessible for routine wiping and washing when the upper components are removed. Regular scooping and cleaning are still essential.
- High-sided surround: raised walls help contain displaced litter and splashes. They do not guarantee a completely leak-free floor.
- Removable cover: separate the hood, surround and pan for access during cleaning or to change the enclosure level.
- Front entry and top opening: keep a comfortable access route available. Introduce the covered setup gradually rather than forcing your cat to use a top exit.
- Included practical extras: the supplier lists a scoop and anti-slip stickers to help with daily maintenance and positioning.

Setup and cleaning
- Follow the supplied assembly instructions and position the litter box on a stable, level surface.
- Start with the open or semi-covered configuration if your cat is unfamiliar with a covered litter box.
- Keep at least one usable entry and exit route available. Never secure a door in a way that traps a cat or prevents access to its litter.
- Scoop waste daily. Empty and clean the pan regularly according to the litter instructions and household usage; this is not a self-cleaning litter box.
- Wash removable parts with mild soap and water where permitted by the supplied care instructions, rinse well and dry before refilling. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh cleaners.
Common questions
Can the hood be removed?
Yes. The supplier describes enclosed, semi-covered and open-pan arrangements using the removable components.
Is it completely dog-proof?
The front door has a supplier-described locking mechanism, but it is not a guarantee against every dog gaining access. Manage placement and supervision, and always preserve a safe access route for your cat.
Is this suitable for large cats?
The supplier markets it as XL and lists a 5–30 lb range. Check your cat’s body length, turning space and mobility against the actual product dimensions rather than relying on the XL label alone.
Does the steel pan eliminate litter odours?
No litter box removes the need for cleaning. Regular scooping, appropriate litter and thorough washing are important for odour management.
