I've had similar fans. They don't use much power and they seem to last a long time.
It WOULD have been nice if the manufacturer spent the additional .03¢ on bubble wrap or extra cardboard where impacts occur most common, during shipping. like, I don't know, the largest open squared edge of the box on 8 sides?!
A new fan would have been nice. A new, broken fan I was able to repair, but shouldn't have had to, if proper shipping procedures had been enforced. The fan was in it's pretty retail box, inside a big ugly grey plastic shipping bag (added no protection whatsoever). Only anonymity. for the money, I suppose it's still a deal
